The Crown Chakra – Universal Life Force Energy

This week, we dive into the knowledge of the seventh and final chakra in this series—the Crown Chakra. Also known as Sahasrara in Sanskrit, this chakra is about awakening the infinite wisdom and knowledge of the Divine. Its meaning is translated to “thousandfold,” and its symbol is a halo or a moon surrounded by a thousand petals, each one tuned to the highest states of consciousness.
Understanding the Crown Chakra
The Crown Chakra is our gateway to universal connection, enlightenment, and higher wisdom. When this chakra is balanced, we feel a deep sense of peace and harmony with ourselves and the universe. We may experience a heightened spiritual awareness, moments of pure clarity, and an understanding that we are part of something greater than ourselves.
However, when this chakra is out of balance, we may feel disconnected from the world around us, lacking purpose, and struggling with a sense of belonging. We may experience an overwhelming mental fog, an inability to focus, or even a deep existential crisis. On the physical level, imbalances in the Crown Chakra have been associated with issues such as chronic fatigue, sensitivity to light and sound, and disturbances in sleep patterns.
My Personal Journey with the Crown Chakra
Over the last five years or so, I have personally felt the weight of an unbalanced Crown Chakra. There were moments when I felt exhausted and lost my sense of belonging in this world. When we experience life changes, we can sometimes lose our sense of self. It felt like I lost my connection with Reiki, and I embarked on a journey to rediscover where I needed to be. That journey led me on a path of deeper understanding, self-exploration, and ultimately, the creation of my own healing business. Through my work in massage and energy healing, I am learning to find and sit with my stillness, embracing the divine flow of life.
Another chakra card popped out at me this week and it had a bee on it. I thought, “What is the symbolism of a bee indicate and how can it relate to the crown chakra more?” So, I got my spirit animal book out and looked it up. The main phrase that caught my eye when I read about the bee was, “Take time to appreciate and enjoy the sweetness in life.” To me it indicated take time to be still with your life and enjoy everything it has to offer. When we are still and quiet, the universe will respond.
When the mind is still,
Infinite knowledge exists.
Interconnection.

How to Balance the Crown Chakra
There are many ways to bring balance to the Crown Chakra and invite a greater sense of spiritual connection into our lives:
- Intentions with Color: Wearing or surrounding yourself with the colors violet, gold, or white can bring connection and balance to this chakra energy.
- Spiritual Practices: Engaging in activities like prayer, meditation, energy healing, or simply spending time in nature can enhance our connection to higher consciousness.
- Crystals & Stones: Clear quartz, amethyst, and selenite are powerful stones that support Crown Chakra healing and alignment.
- Essential Oils: Lavender, rosewood, and frankincense can be used in aromatherapy to calm the mind and facilitate spiritual awakening. That’s why some religions or cultures use frankincense and consider it sacred.
- Affirmations & Intentions: Repeating affirmations such as “I am connected to the divine” or “I trust the universe’s wisdom” can help align your energy with the Crown Chakra.

Embracing Your Spiritual Connection
Balancing the Crown Chakra is not just about enlightenment—it’s about embracing our own divine connection and understanding that we are part of something far greater. As we continue on this path of self-discovery, we begin to see the beauty of surrendering to the flow of life and trusting in the universe’s guidance.
You are what you seek.
You are Divine, so be it!
We are all one Source.
This marks the conclusion of our chakra series, but the journey does not end here. Healing and self-discovery are lifelong practices, and I am honored to have shared this wisdom with you. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
